Dehra dun is a bustling town 258 km from Delhi, the town is situated in a valley in the Shivaliks, in the foothills of the Himalayas at a height of 2,200 feet. A gateway to hill stations of Garhwal and adventure sports like river rafting and trekking in the lower Himalayas. Dehra Dun is famed for its fruit-laden orchards. Summers are hot, with temperatures ranging between 27° C and 41° C. Winters can get as cold as 9° C and as warm as 27° C

We started from delhi at 09:30 AM and firt halt was at Dallu Pura petrol station 1 km ahead of my house there was a long Q at the station we had to wait for 1/2 an hour to we get the tank filled .As we enter Ghaziabad to our suprise we found lots vehicles heading towards the direction we were. It was like whole Delhi was heading towards mountains. We were limited to max speed 60 km/hr due to heavy traffic mostly because of holiday seekers. As we further headed into UP roads were horible and the drive was so tiring. Our first stop was at small field for Sugar Canes just before Rookee it was already 12 pm after a brife and well need rest of 25 mins we started again. Our next Halt was for lunch we did bother to find out which place was it because it was already 2:30 pm and all were teribly hungry all I know it was half an hour ahead Roorki. By 4:30 we were at Dehradun.

And now lies the bigesst task ahead it was to find my Friends Seemas House. After some navigation with help of telefone we finaly reached her house by 5:30 . As i got out of ther car the first person to welcome us mewas this squirrel so I thought of including him in this blog.
Seema Was supose to arrange Hotel Accomodation fo us The accomodation was arranged in Shagun palace but it was almost like a khander rooms were filthy even the sheets were not clean but any ways we atleast had a place to rest. the hotel rooms were not availble easly since every one was having a five day Holiday in hand so hotels rooms were being booked at a premium rates. almost everthing booked. Evening at seven we went out into Dehradun city a not much happening city we were so tired so decided to return back to our Hotel room.
